(June 20, 2018) – The Cayuga-Onondaga School Board Association’s (COSBA) annual dinner and awards banquet was held on May 31, 2018 at the Aurora Inn.

Each year, COSBA honors outstanding students, support staff, teachers, administrators, and school board members for their accomplishments. Two individuals from Union Springs Central School District were recognized this year.

Katie Graham, senior and valedictorian of Union Springs High School’s Class of 2018, earned an Outstanding Student Award. Claudia Natale, Teacher Assistant at Union Springs High School, earned an Outstanding Instruction Support Staff Award. Katie and Claudia will both be moving on this year, as Katie is graduating and Claudia is retiring after 29 years of dedicated service to the district.

“Katie and Claudia are more than deserving of these prestigious awards,” said Union Springs Superintendent Dr. Jarett Powers. “The district is proud of their accomplishments and wish them the best in their future endeavors.”
