Union Springs Students and Staff Buzz with Excitement for Homecoming Week

The halls of Union Springs High School are alive with anticipation as students and staff eagerly prepare for the much-awaited Homecoming Week, set to take place from 9/11- 9/15. The annual tradition promises to be a week filled with school spirit, camaraderie, and a host of exciting activities.

Homecoming Week kicks off with specific colors to wear for each grade on Monday. “Bikers vs Surfers” headlines Tuesday, where students have a choice to either look like they are spending a day at the beach, or a day on a motorcycle. Wednesday is “Decade’s Day”, where each grade dresses as a different time frame. Freshman have the 70’s, sophomores have the 80’s, juniors have the 90’s, and seniors have the 2000’s. On Thursday, students and staff will show off their patriotism during USA day. Finally, Friday is Spirit Day, where students and staff will break out their purple and white in anticipation of the afternoon pep rally and homecoming games.

All these exciting activities that celebrate school pride and create everlasting memories will culminate in the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, September 16 from 8 to 10:30 p.m.
