    Important Info:

    • All Varsity and JV sports hosted at Union Springs and Port Byron will begin on August 21.
    • All modified teams will start at both Union Springs and Port Byron on August 28.
    • All athletes must complete the medical paperwork and have it approved by the school nurse prior to starting the season. This paperwork can be found at the high school office.
    • If you are playing a merged sport hosted at PB (football, field hockey, and cross country) and you are a USCS student, you will still need to complete the USCS medical paperwork to get cleared prior to the season.
    • Meet the Coaches Night will be on Wednesday, August 16 at 6:00 PM in the auditorium. At this time you can get all pertinent information concerning the sport you would like to play.

    1. Complete the Health History Update and the Emergency Medical treatment card and return it to the Nurses Office for review prior to the beginning of the season.

    2. Provide a current physical: You can have your doctor fax the physical paperwork to the nurses office or bring it into the school. Physicals expire 12 months after the date of the exam. No athlete will be permitted to play or try out with an expired physical.

    3. No student will be allowed to practice or tryout unless these requirements are met.

    4. All athletes and parents are encouraged to attend the Meet the Coaches Night on August 16 at 6PM in the auditorium if they are interested in a fall sport.

    5. Practices for Varsity and JV sports begin August 21 and Modified sports will begin August 28.
