Union Springs CSD Celebrates Outstanding Achievements at Varsity Spring Sports Awards Ceremony

Last night, the Union Springs Athletic Department hosted its annual Varsity Spring Sports Awards Ceremony, celebrating the exceptional accomplishments of student-athletes across various sports. Held at the Union Springs High School auditorium, the event was attended by students, parents, faculty, and community members, all coming together to honor the hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship demonstrated by the athletes throughout the season.

The evening began with a welcome address from Athletic Coordinator, Todd Salls, who highlighted the perseverance and resilience shown by the athletes throughout the season. "Our student-athletes have demonstrated extraordinary commitment and sportsmanship," Salls remarked. "Tonight, we celebrate not just their achievements on the field, but also their growth and dedication off the field."

Salls presented shirts to the May Athletes of the Month, Paityn Delaney and Luke Parker. Paityn pitched her team to the first sectional girls softball championship ever in Union Springs’ history and led the team offensively the second half of the season.
