Union Springs Celebrates Senior Success at Scholarship Dinner

The Union Springs Central School District honored its Class of 2025 during the annual Senior Scholarship Dinner, held last evening at The Apple Station. Families, staff, and community members gathered to celebrate the achievements of this year’s graduating seniors in a warm, heartfelt ceremony that highlighted the strength of the Union Springs community.
The evening began with a welcome from Union Springs High School Principal Mr. Jason Dentel, who expressed pride in the graduating class and appreciation for the many community members who make the scholarship program possible. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jarett Powers then offered opening remarks, emphasizing the hard work of the students and the generosity of the local organizations and individuals who support their futures.
Following the speeches, attendees were invited to enjoy a buffet-style dinner. Seniors and their families, along with scholarship award presenters, shared a meal together in celebration before the formal awards portion of the evening began.
After dinner, the formal presentation of scholarships commenced. Nearly 30 different awards were distributed, with many presenters awarding multiple scholarships. In total, more than $120,000 was given to members of the Class of 2025.
From local service organizations to memorial awards given in honor of past community members, the scholarships reflected the care, pride, and investment the Union Springs community has in its young people.
The district extends its gratitude to all donors, presenters, and families who helped make the evening memorable. Congratulations to all of the seniors who were recognized for their hard work and dedication!
