Sixth Graders Explore STEM Through Makey Makey in PBL Series Part II

Union Springs continued its Project-Based Learning video series with a visit to the sixth grade, where students recently took part in an engaging hands-on STEM lesson using Makey Makey kits.
The class was joined by Karen Schaub, Instructional Technology Integration Specialist from Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES, who guided students through the process of turning everyday objects into interactive technology. Using Makey Makey, students explored circuits, creativity and problem-solving in an exciting, tech-focused extension of their PBL work.
The activity sparked curiosity, collaboration and plenty of smiles as students experimented, tested ideas and discovered new ways to bring learning to life.
