Union Springs High School Brings the Magic of Oz to the Stage This Weekend

The yellow brick road is coming to life at Union Springs High School as students prepare to present their spring musical, The Wizard of Oz, in the High School Auditorium.
Audiences are invited to follow Dorothy and her friends on their unforgettable journey to the Emerald City during three performances:

Thursday, March 12 at 7 p.m.

Friday, March 13 at 7 p.m.

Saturday, March 14 at 2 p.m.
This beloved story follows Dorothy as she is swept away by a tornado to the magical land of Oz. Along the way, she meets memorable characters including the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion as they travel together in search of courage, heart, and wisdom. Filled with iconic songs, colorful characters and plenty of heart, the production promises to be a fun and memorable experience for the entire community.
The show highlights the hard work and talent of Union Springs students both on stage and behind the scenes, from acting and singing to stage design, lighting and technical production.
