Union Springs Central School District voters approved all four propositions on Tuesday, May 19, during the annual budget vote and Board of Education election.

The proposed 2026-27 school budget (Proposition #1) passed by a vote of 278 to 68, earning 80.3% voter approval.

Also approved were:

• Proposition #2 (Bus Proposition): 297 to 48 (86.0% approval)
• Proposition #3 (Vehicle Replacement): 284 to 61 (82.3% approval)
• Proposition #4 (Springport Free Library): 278 to 68 (80.3% approval)

In the Board of Education election, Daniel Testa (288 votes), Kailie Carter-Nolan (261 votes), and Danielle Barendt (252 votes) were elected to three-year terms beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2029.
